Abstract
Pancreaticoduodenal artery (PDA) aneurysm is a rare disease without any distinct physical characteristics which makes detection extremely difficult unless ruptured. Although most lesions have been diagnosed with their rupture, rate of incidental discovery is increasing with the recent advances in imaging modality and by frequent medical examination. Ruptured PDA aneurysm can be fatal and has high rate of mortality, hence proper treatment based on precise diagnosis is crucial. Although angiography is a modality of choice both for diagnosis and treatment at the time of rupture, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) can help differentially diagnose aneurysm from pancreatic mass. Authors have experienced a case of PDA aneurysm, which presented with abdominal pain and was diagnosed with computed tomography and EUS at an uncomplicated status. As the patient was treated by percutaneous arterial embolization without any complication, we report the case with the review of literature
